Museums & immersive

Rooms that convince people they are somewhere else

Permanent exhibitions, projection mapping, motion-ride cinema and VR reference systems — six Austrian state exhibitions, and installations still running years after handover.

Immersive exhibition

The brief

What usually arrives

It rarely arrives as an equipment list. It arrives as an intention: make visitors feel the scale of this industry. Make a two-hundred-year-old collection hold a twelve-year-old's attention. Give the anniversary a room people will still describe to colleagues a year later.

Somebody then has to decide whether that intention is buildable, what it costs to run for ten years, and who fixes it at nine on a public holiday when a projector fails mid-tour.

That decision is the work. The hardware follows from it.

We have made that decision six times for Austrian state exhibitions alone, plus corporate museums, national park visitor centres, a Benedictine abbey and a 5D cinema. The answer is sometimes that the idea should change. We say so early, while changing it is still cheap.

Scope

What sits inside the contract

Concept & feasibility

Turning an exhibition narrative into a technical concept: sightlines, throw distances, ambient light, acoustic separation between adjacent rooms, and an honest ten-year running cost before anything is ordered.

Projection & mapping

Edge-blended multi-projector arrays, mapping onto geometry that was never meant to be a screen, and colour matching across surfaces with different reflectance.

Motion & 5D

Motion-ride and 5D cinema, synchronised to frame accuracy with the seat programme, effects and audio.

VR & simulation

Virtual reality reference systems for automotive, aerospace and research clients, where the image has to be measurably correct rather than merely convincing.

Media control

Scheduled start-up and shutdown, content management, remote monitoring and alerting — so the venue team is not the first to notice a fault.

Service over time

Spares strategy, lamp and panel replacement planning, and content updates years after opening. Exhibitions outlive their opening night.

Send the narrative, the floor plan, or just the sentence the client keeps repeating. We will tell you what it takes to build and what it costs to keep running.
